About me
Katy Shedlock is an Episcopal priest, poet, and church planter in Spokane, WA. A 2024 graduate of the MFA at EWU in poetry, as a student she was poetry editor for Willow Springs Books and now enjoys being an editor for Banana Slug Books with her classmates from the program. Katy's poetry has appeared in The Inlander, Geez Magazine, Rock & Sling, and Plainsongs Poetry Journal, as well as in the anthologies I Sing the Salmon Home: Poems from Washington State, and We Are All God's Poems. Katy is a preacher, pastors the weirdest most wonderful congregation in West Central, and is happiest talking about writing with people she loves.
