About me
Morganne Elkins is a painter and writer based in Midcoast Maine. She holds a BFA in Painting from Pratt Institute, and an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from Eastern Washington University. She bridges the visual and literary arts wherever she can: in her work for Banana Slug Books with editing and book design, in her personal creative practice, and within her professional role as gallery editor and art book collection co-curator for Blue Raven Gallery. Morganne’s painting has been exhibited throughout the East Coast and Europe, with work shown in Budapest, Brooklyn, and Glasgow. Her fiction has been supported by the Community of Writers, Quillisascut, and the Pitak Intrawityanunt Award.
